A special visitor
Use the context of inviting their teddy to a 'welcome to class' celebration to explore Commonwealth nations and understanding that we are all part of the Commonwealth.
Welcome and goodbye
As a post-Games activity, students view and interpret a national/global celebration such as the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies.
