Explore the concepts of identity and belonging from a personal and Aboriginal perspective.
Aboriginal people belong
This activity makes links with the Setting the scene activity and builds students' awareness of Aboriginal peoples' sense of belonging.
I am who I am because
Students create a 'Snapshot of Me'. The focus of this activity is on individual students' identities.
Light my lantern
Students will explore light from both scientific and artistic perspectives to assist them in creating a lantern that reflects aspects of their identity. Students' lanterns could be used in community celebrations associated with the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
