This unit enables students to understand the concept of participation, focusing on the theme 'Get involved in your life'. It challenges students to take control, take action and take responsibility in their lives, using the Commonwealth Games as a starting point. Students will investigate what we mean by participation, why we participate and the ways in which we participate in both local and global settings.
